Emri Leigh

Emri Leigh! She was a strong baby. Born 8 weeks early weighing in at only 4 lbs 17 inches long she did amazing. She stayed in NICU for 9 days before she was released to us. She has grown quickly and has gained wait as well. She is finally getting on the charts. Though she is now 14 months old she still is petite, wearing 6-12 month clothes=) She is a wonderful baby. Very easy going, goes with the flow, laughs a lot, plays on her own, and sleeps wonderfully! She has been and continues to be a breastfed baby and loves every minute of it. Emri loves to play with her big sisters and do everything they do! It is nice to have such a peaceful baby for our last. Her new favorite thing to do is be chased and then let her chase you. She started crawling at about 9 months old and is now learning to cruise holding on to furniture. I am in no rush for her to walk.

Morgan

On January 24, 2005 our little Morgan was placed in our arms. She decided she wanted to be born 3 weeks early. I had a perfect pregnancy and delivery with her. She weighed 6 lbs. 6 oz. and was 19 inches long. Morgan had a slow weight gain never weighing more than 17-18 pounds up till she was almost 2 years old. She is still small but doesn't let that stop her from anything. Morgan started crawling at 8 months and was walking by 13 months. She is very lively but shy. She has always been a mommy's girl. Morgan is the one who keeps everyone laughing. She loves to entertain and well loves to be the center of attention really. She comes off being whiny and nervous but when she opens up to you, you become her best friend! Morgan was definitely a challenge and we continue to still work on that. As far as Josh and I planned we were not going to have any more children(especially another Morgan, =o)Then came number 3...

Anna Belle

We very quickly started our family, expecting our first daughter Anna on December 15th. After a very long 4 day labor we finally got to hold our baby. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 19 inches long. Anna was delivered 2 weeks early because of complications with my pregnancy. She was a wonderful baby. Very happy, energetic, and very independent(and still is). Anna has always been outgoing and a leader. Like her father, she doesn't know a stranger. She learned to crawl at 5 months, was walking at 7 months and was running by 9 months. God had his hand on us knowing what lay ahead just 13 months later...

As a first blog I guess I should explain how I met my amazing husband. Well, to start with I thought he was crazy and way to rambunctious. We met at the church youth group that we were both attending. He nearly ran me over in haste to talk to one of his friends that was standing beside me. He was loud, funny, outgoing and well didn't know a stranger. I was quiet, reserved, and well we just say that all changed!!! From the get go we had common interests. We were both home-schooled, loved the same sports, had a lot of the same dreams, goals, and loved traveling. We hit it off from the start. We spend many endless nights of hanging out and having long conversations getting to know each other. He and I became very close friends starting in the fall of 2001. At this point we weren't even interested in dating just being friends. As things progressed we fell in love and by the spring of 2003 we were happily married. Since then it has been a roller coaster of life changes... surprise baby 1,2, and 3!!! This is our story...
